Program & data control
How can MDM recognize exactly where a program returning from a CNC belongs?
Updated
MDMImport Queue
Direct answer
MDM can write its internal database ID into the NC file header when sending it. When the program returns through the Import Queue, that identifier can route it back to the exact database record. If a file is sent to a different machine, the ID can be removed to avoid associating the return with the wrong record.
Practical checkpoint
Inspect the sent header and test same-machine and different-machine return paths before enabling automatic routing broadly.
