CIMCO Edit can handle straightforward, attended send-and-receive work from one PC. DNC-Max becomes the better fit when communication needs to run as shared infrastructure: many machines, unattended service, machine-specific protocols, remote request, auto receive, central logs, browser access, or links to NC-Base, MDM, and MDC-Max.
