What does DNC-Max Auto Receive do, and how should I set it up?
Updated
Direct answer
Auto Receive saves a program sent from a CNC without requiring someone at the PC to start a receive or name the file manually. Configure a machine-specific destination directory, confirm the expected extension, and set the start trigger, end trigger, line-ending behavior, omit rules, and receive timeout for that control. When NC-Base or MDM is part of the workflow, the returned file can enter an Import Queue for review instead of silently replacing the approved version.
Practical checkpoint
Send a real program from the machine and confirm that the complete file lands in the intended machine folder, uses the expected name and extension, opens cleanly, and enters review when document control is enabled.
