CIMCO Cloud Link uses a local agent to establish an encrypted outbound connection, avoiding the need to expose an inbound service or reconfigure the site's router for each remote user. That reduces one class of network risk, but it does not remove the need for strong identities, role-based permissions, endpoint security, and access review.

Document which server initiates the tunnel, which users and applications are allowed through it, how access is revoked, and what activity is logged.
